The album:

 

Songs of Loss is the debut album by A Permanent Shadow. It was released on September 20, 2019.

The album was produced by Valen Nieto, Albert Català and CP Fletcher and recorded at Mini Blind Studios in Barcelona during the summer of 2018.

​

Eight of the ten songs were composed by CP Fletcher and Albert Català. The longplay also contains two cover versions, by Lou Reed and Simple Minds, respectively, and the singles Empty, Fool and Now.
